LA VIGILIA PERFECTA is presented as a danced liturgy that takes place over the course of a day. The show is conceived as a series of choreographic micro-pieces distributed and sequenced from dawn to dusk, following the canonical hours: Matins, Lauds, Prime, Terce, Sext, Nones, Vespers and Compline and highlights the connection of flamenco with the pulse of time and of life, with the sounds and cadences of work, and opens up ways to integrate this into the most demanding and contemporary sound and dance discourses.
LA VIGILIA PERFECTA is, in short, a sincere attempt to answer the question "what can I do in my time and with my time?", a proposal in which each danced figure, each sound or each visual discovery are necessary moments of that incessant activity that tempers and directs the inner and outer energy, the work and its product, the body and the space, with no other purpose than to see one's own idea of order and beauty realized.
